PROJECTS

Cambridge

An honest, authentic portrait of Cambridge, England. Photographs of the ordinary and extraordinary in this well-loved, much-visited location an hour north of London.

London-oply

A photographic journey around the British Monopoly board, from Old Kent Road to Mayfair, including King’s Cross Station, Trafalgar Square, the Strand, and more.

PA Town

A close, non-sentimental look at small towns in Central Pennsylvania, defined as the land between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

Chair

Chances are, you’re sitting in a chair. This project is about people, their chairs, and our personal preferences. Many thanks to all who hauled their seats to my studio!

Statues of Westminster

The statues of Westminster, England—found in streets, parks, embankments, and squares—speak to their nation’s history, commemorating war, monarchy, and culture. Each statue is placed afterof years of planning and huge expense.

All are subject to erosion by weather, pigeons, and people. Daily, people interact with these public works of art: picnicing at the base of Nelson’s Column; climbing the steps of the Victoria Memorial, or simply walking right on past.

PORTRAIT

Portraits are a shared conversation between the photographer, subject, and viewer; they are a feeling, a human connection, and moment in time.

I make portraits both in and out of the studio. To see more portrait work, and for more information, visit liechtyportrait.com
