PHILIPSBURG

the PRC Building

The PRC building, named for the Philipsburg Revitalization Corporation which purchased it in 2020, is a work in progress. Once renovated, the PRC plans to lease the ground-floor commercial space to ARTery, an LLC owned by Lynne Anne Verbank and Adrienne Waterston. Their plans include a coffee shop, an art gallery, and two studios in the space – one for silkscreen and the other for clay, and offer a variety of classes and memberships.

Built in the 1920s, it hosted a variety of businesses, most recently the Philipsburg Maytag Store, and was empty for ten years before its purchase by the PRC.
